Magnesium Range Lab Testing Dataset

Every published laboratory result for HealthyHey magnesium products, as structured data rather than scanned images. Batch numbers, report numbers, methods, specification limits and measured outcomes, downloadable as CSV or JSON and free to reuse with attribution.

What this release covers, and what it does not. Version 1 contains safety testing only: heavy metals and microbiological parameters from a NABL-accredited laboratory.

It does not yet contain potency assays, meaning measured elemental magnesium against label claim. Those tests are not currently part of our published report set. We are adding them, and this page will be versioned when they arrive. We would rather publish a narrow dataset that is true than a broad one that is padded.

BQL means below the quantitation limit of the method, that is, not detected at the stated sensitivity. Specification limits are those of the Food Safety and Standards Regulations, 2011.

Laboratory and methods

  • Laboratory: Avon Food Lab Pvt. Ltd., C-35/23 Lawrence Road Industrial Area, Delhi 110035, India.
  • Accreditation: NABL, certificate number TC-11151. ISO/IEC 17025 recognised by BIS. Testing facility approved by the Directorate of AYUSH and Agmark.
  • Heavy metals: in-house methods AFLPL/SOP/CH/INH/255 and, for methyl mercury, AFLPL/SOP/CH/INH/452. Results reported in mg/kg.
  • Microbiology: ISO 21528 (P-2):2017 for Enterobacteriaceae, IS 5887 (P-3)(Sec-1):2020 for Salmonella, IS 14988 (P-1):2020 for Listeria monocytogenes.
  • Sampling: samples were supplied by HealthyHey Foods LLP and not drawn by the laboratory. This is stated on the reports and is a genuine limitation of the dataset.

Known limitations

  • No potency or identity assay is included yet, so this dataset says nothing about elemental magnesium content or about which magnesium forms are present.
  • A total-magnesium assay, when added, will still not identify magnesium forms, because digestion reduces every form to the same ion before measurement. Form identification needs solubility, nitrogen or X-ray diffraction testing.
  • Samples were not drawn by the laboratory.
  • Coverage is uneven across products and dates, reflecting which reports have been published rather than a designed sampling plan.
