Testing & reports
Eureka Analytical Services report TR-26-EKA1-051819-02, dated 30 May 2026, covers the submitted Omega 3 Fish Oil sample EKA1-26-05-05781. It reports metals, including mercury and methyl mercury below their quantification limits. Sampling was not performed by Eureka. Results apply only to that received sample, not every jar or the selected pack's current batch, and do not establish EPA/DHA potency or clinical efficacy. Read both certificate pages and compare your pack's batch details.
Scientific papers
These papers discuss EPA and DHA, not a clinical trial of HealthyHey's finished product. Study amounts are context, not directions for use.
-
Swanson et al. (2012) — EPA and DHA throughout life · Narrative review
Finding: Reviews research on EPA and DHA's roles in cardiovascular, neurological and retinal function.
Limitations: A narrative review of varied studies, not a randomized trial of this product. It does not establish this pack's clinical benefit or an optimal dose.
Relevance to this pack: This label supplies 600 mg EPA and 400 mg DHA per two-softgel serving. The review provides ingredient-level context, not proof of finished-product outcomes.
DOI: 10.3945/an.111.000893 -
AREDS2 Research Group (2013) — Omega-3 and advanced AMD · Randomized trial
Finding: Adding 650 mg EPA and 350 mg DHA to the AREDS regimen did not significantly reduce progression to advanced age-related macular degeneration in the primary analysis.
Limitations: Participants were older adults at elevated AMD risk and used an AREDS regimen. This was not a trial of HealthyHey Fish Oil or general eye-health outcomes.
Relevance to this pack: The study's EPA:DHA ratio differs from this pack's 600:400 mg serving. Equal combined amounts do not establish equivalent effects; this study does not support an AMD-prevention claim.
