    Finding: Chieng et al., Frontiers in Nutrition (2022): ten randomized trials in 1,234 women found lower recurrence after standard bacterial-vaginosis treatment with studied probiotic regimens versus controls.

    Limitations: Moderate-certainty evidence with allocation-concealment concerns, variable strains, doses, routes and treatment periods, and mostly short follow-up. Oral and vaginal preparations were not interchangeable.
