मैग्नीशियम ग्लाइसीनेट, उच्च अवशोषण, नींद स्वास्थ्य, मांसपेशियों और तंत्रिका स्वास्थ्य अनुपूरक 550 मिलीग्राम
22% or 14% - Which Is For You?
This is the 22% one-capsule format. One 550 mg capsule provides 121 mg of elemental magnesium by combining magnesium glycinate with additional magnesium. Pure magnesium bisglycinate is only 14.1% magnesium by weight, so 550 mg of it alone would supply about 78 mg. Reaching 121 mg in a single capsule requires a second, denser magnesium source, and we state that openly.
| 22% (this product) | 14% Fully Chelated | |

| Elemental magnesium per serving | 121 mg | 121 mg |

How to Take
Take 1 capsule daily with a meal, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Do not exceed 2 capsules a day. Magnesium is absorbed somewhat better in smaller, spaced doses and when taken with food rather than on an empty stomach.
Store in a cool, dry, dark place after opening.
Not to exceed the recommended daily usage. If you are pregnant or lactating or prone to any food allergy or under any medical condition, consult your healthcare professional before using the product. Product is required to be stored out of reach of children.
What Magnesium Does in the Body
Magnesium is an essential mineral and a cofactor in more than 300 enzyme systems. It is involved in normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal muscle function, normal functioning of the nervous system, electrolyte balance, and the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.
ICMR-NIN (2020) sets the recommended dietary allowance at 440 mg a day for adult men and 370 mg for adult women, counting all sources including food. One capsule contributes 121 mg toward that total.
What to Take It Away From
| Taken alongside | Why it matters | Spacing |
|---|---|---|
| High-dose calcium | Competes with magnesium for absorption | 2 to 3 hours apart |
| Iron supplements | Absorption of both can be reduced | Take iron earlier, magnesium later |
| High-dose zinc | Can interfere with magnesium absorption | 2 to 3 hours apart |
| Antibiotics (tetracyclines, quinolones) | Magnesium binds them and reduces their absorption | 2 to 4 hours apart |
| Bisphosphonates | Reduced absorption of the medicine | Several hours apart |
| Levothyroxine | Reduced absorption of the medicine | Thyroid medicine in the morning, magnesium later |

Frequently Asked Questions
What is HealthyHey Magnesium Glycinate 22% and what does each capsule provide?
It is our one-capsule-a-day magnesium supplement. Each 550 mg capsule provides 121 mg of elemental magnesium, which is 22% of the capsule contents by weight, from magnesium glycinate combined with additional magnesium from a permitted mineral source. It is manufactured in FSSAI-licensed, GMP-certified (audited by TUV India) and FSSC 22000-certified facilities, and every batch is third-party tested at NABL-accredited labs for purity and potency.
Why does the label say 22% when pure magnesium glycinate is about 14%?
Pure magnesium bisglycinate cannot exceed 14.1% magnesium by weight, because each magnesium ion is bound to two heavy glycine molecules. That is fixed chemistry, not a quality grade. To fit a full 121 mg of magnesium into a single capsule, this formulation combines magnesium glycinate with additional magnesium from a permitted mineral source. If you want magnesium bisglycinate as the only source, choose our 14% Fully Chelated, which delivers the same 121 mg across two capsules.
Is magnesium oxide a poor ingredient?
No, and the evidence is more balanced than the internet suggests. Magnesium oxide is a permitted magnesium source in India, the EU, Canada and the United States. It is far denser than a chelate, around 60% magnesium by weight against about 14% for bisglycinate, which is why small amounts go a long way. In the one human trial that compared magnesium bisglycinate with magnesium oxide directly, absorption was similar in most participants; the chelate was ahead only in people whose absorption was impaired, and it was better tolerated. Laxative effects from magnesium oxide occur at gram-level doses, far above what a 121 mg serving contains.
How should I take HealthyHey Magnesium Glycinate 22%?
Take one capsule daily with a meal and a glass of water, or as directed by your healthcare provider. Do not exceed two capsules a day. Magnesium is absorbed a little better with food than on an empty stomach.
Are there any side effects?
Magnesium at this dose is generally well tolerated. Some people notice mild digestive adjustment during the first few days. If you experience any adverse effects, discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider. Speak to your doctor first if you have reduced kidney function, since the kidney is how the body clears excess magnesium. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Is HealthyHey Magnesium Glycinate 22% vegetarian?
Yes. It uses plant-based HPMC (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) vegetarian capsules and contains no animal-derived ingredients. It is also free from gluten, soy and dairy.
What quality certifications does this product have?
It is manufactured at facilities holding an FSSAI licence, GMP certification (audited by TUV India), FSSC 22000 V6 and ISO 22000. Each batch undergoes third-party testing at NABL-accredited laboratories, and we publish the lab reports for transparency. Over 200 NABL lab reports have been published across our product range.
Can I take it with other supplements?
Usually yes, though timing matters for a few. Space magnesium 2 to 3 hours away from high-dose calcium, iron or zinc, and take it several hours apart from antibiotics, bisphosphonates and thyroid medicine. Consult your healthcare provider before combining supplements, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or on prescription medication.
